Fueling the Plane to Grandma’s House

The TSA estimates 26.8 million air passengers will travel this holiday season. Most are worried about the security line and overhead bin space. Few will think about complex airport infrastructure.

But Argus Consulting thinks about it. In fact, they’re designing it. More than 70% of the top commercial airports in the country feature fuel systems designed or enhanced by Argus.

“Without fuel, planes don’t fly,” said Chris Straub, Argus vice president and general manager. “The fuel system must work in a snowstorm and 100-degree weather and on light and busy travel days, and engineering is a huge part of that.”
