Resilience is the theme of Science Talk ‘21, an annual conference for U.S. science communication practitioners and facilitators. Online attendees will hear keynotes from The Atlantic science writer Ed Yong and National Geographic Explorer Ella Al-Shamahi.
“When science is seen as opinion, we’ve lost our connection to reality,” says Dr. Kiki Sanford, Science Talk vice president of public relations and host of This Week in Science podcast. “We’re building a community of science communication professionals who are prepared to speak facts clearly, have difficult conversations respectfully and address challenges resiliently.”
Registration is open for the March 24-26 event.
