Entries are now open for the 2020 North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF) Minecraft Masters Global Competition. Masters must demonstrate competency in Design, Redstone and Commands/Command Block – skills that help build complex, engineering-style levels of gameplay.
“Esports is thriving while countless other summer activities are cancelled due to social distancing,” says Tom Turner, chief education officer for NASEF. “NASEF and its partners around the world will bring kids online with their friends to enjoy the fun of creating and competing together.”
The no-cost competition is for teens in Canada, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States and South Africa.
